Evin’s lengthy and vast experience working in facilities, on construction projects, and landscape management makes him a valuable fit with Restore Native Plants, where he helps maintain the buildings and hardscape. His expertise in problem-solving, coaching, and leadership supports the team in implementing strong, practical best practices across subjects.
Evin grew up in a landscape-centric family, had a landscaping business, has put in thousands of hours avocationally, and currently starts seeds indoors in the winter for his flower and vegetable gardens. His love of the outdoors is reflected in his hundreds of trail runs, 35 years of mountain biking, including about 100 visits to this park in the 1990s. Before becoming a team member, he volunteered with RNP, contributing hands-on landscape work.
Evin holds a B.A. from Drew University, an MBA from Wake Forest University, and many certificates for classes ranging from a Columbia University class in landscape resilience to a 40-hour class in boiler operations. He is currently in a 7-course program at Rutgers in Education Facilities Management.
He has a busy life with his two young boys, and dog, Rufus, who Evin brings to work.

Dear Dr. Burton,
Thank you for sharing your views on energy and environmental policy.
My Administration is strongly committed to environmental protection, including keeping our air and water clean and being good stewards of our environment. This requires all of us to do our part, and I want to thank you for your commitment to preserving our environment for future generations.
As we continue to protect our environment, we must also ensure that American workers have greater opportunities to provide for their families. That is why my Administration is also committed to protecting American workers and American companies from unnecessary regulatory burdens. Going forward, regulations must balance our stewardship of the environment with the needs of a growing economy.
Thank you again for sharing your views. As President, I am committed to unleashing America’s economic potential, while also protecting the environment. I am confident that together we can preserve America’s natural blessings for future generations.
Sincerely,
