Joe is the Assistant Property Maintenance Coordinator and Solar Technician at Restore Native Plants, where he helps maintain and improve the spaces that make ecological restoration possible. Combining a hands-on technical background with a passion for native plants and wildlife, Joe supports staff and volunteers as they remove invasive species, restore native habitats, and protect local ecosystems.
Joe joined Restore Native Plants after learning about the organization’s work through local community connections and quickly connected with its restoration-focused mission. He holds a degree in computer science from Sussex County Community College and brings experience in solar installation and sustainable technologies. He contributes to daily maintenance, repair planning, and facility upgrades — work that keeps the park functional, safe, and ready for restoration projects.
Based in northern New Jersey, Joe enjoys combining practical problem-solving with conservation-minded work. He is especially interested in sustainable technology, restoring chestnut trees, and developing reliable behind-the-scenes solutions that support the people and mission of Restore Native Plants.

Dear Dr. Burton,
Thank you for sharing your views on energy and environmental policy.
My Administration is strongly committed to environmental protection, including keeping our air and water clean and being good stewards of our environment. This requires all of us to do our part, and I want to thank you for your commitment to preserving our environment for future generations.
As we continue to protect our environment, we must also ensure that American workers have greater opportunities to provide for their families. That is why my Administration is also committed to protecting American workers and American companies from unnecessary regulatory burdens. Going forward, regulations must balance our stewardship of the environment with the needs of a growing economy.
Thank you again for sharing your views. As President, I am committed to unleashing America’s economic potential, while also protecting the environment. I am confident that together we can preserve America’s natural blessings for future generations.
Sincerely,
