Nicole Szubart is graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science and a minor in Studio Art at William Paterson University. She is the Garden Maintenance Chair for the Green League on her campus that strives to involve students in combating global climate change. She also promotes clean up’s and invasive species removal through her position of Community Service Chair in her sorority of Theta Phi Alpha.

Nicole is currently researching for her capstone project on the invasive plant species known as Garlic Mustard. Nicole is excited to further her education about New Jersey’s native and invasive plant species with Restore Native Plants. In the future, she hopes to further her career by obtaining a Master’s in Environmental Law.
