William Winkler

Invasive Species Technician

Will has a unique blend of experience in both environmental work and property management. His exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and keen eye for detail make him a valuable team member, responsible for keeping all buildings and equipment in pristine condition.

William developed an interest in wildlife and plants while hiking and working in landscaping. His experience renovating houses helped him acquire a broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and construction concepts. William realized his true passion lay in working with his hands, and his love for the environment led him to join Restore Native Plants in 2022.

William graduated Cum Laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.A. in Marketing and a minor in Entrepreneurship.

When he isn’t managing the maintenance of buildings, you can find Will cheerfully working in the field with staff and volunteers, helping with invasive species removal and wildlife garden maintenance.
